Recession OR Worse! Investors looking to the federal reserve to help in the recent financial crisis. Major banks are going out of business. Huge investment firms that have been in business for over a hundred years are drowning in debt. What is going on? What is the truth? The state of this countries financial condition is not good. Our so called leaders are the part of the problem! They tell us everything is ok or not as bad as it appears. In reality things are VERY BAD! Foreclosures are higher than anytime in previous history and that is a fact! Thousands of jobs will be lost today after the dust settles from the failure of Financial firm Lehman Brothers. USA is in trouble. I am now watching an television report on ABC about Niagra falls and they are showing both sides of the border. The USA side is like a ghost town, thousands of people have departed the area and most of the manufacturing jobs are gone. If you would simply walk across the bride to the CANADA side you will see a totally different situation. Everything is different, average wages are twice what they are in USA border town, the valuation of homes is more than three times the amount. Unemployment is Low, etc..... If you stand on the border and look from one side to the next, the contrast is very different. The USA side is dark , but the CANADA side looks like Las Vegas. Why is this happening? What is going on?
